Position: Logistics Manager

Wage: C$51.00 Per Hour

Working Hours: 6 hours per day, 30 hours per week

Vacation: 10 days of paid vacation per year

Language: English

Work Term: Full-time, Permanent

Highlights of What You’ll Do:

·         Coordinate, manage, and assess WPIC’s logistics operations to ensure efficient transportation and distribution that aligns with corporate goals.

·         Develop operational policies and standards to ensure compliance with transportation regulations, with a focus on safety procedures for handling hazardous materials.

·         Oversee the dispatch, maintenance, and servicing of the company’s logistics assets, including transportation equipment.

·         Manage the logistics department’s budget, including procurement and asset acquisition.

·         Monitor the performance of logistics operations and prepare reports for the senior management team to support decision-making.

·         Adjust logistics schedules and policies based on market demands and operational challenges.

·         Recruit, train, and manage logistics personnel to ensure teamwork and professional growth.

Must-Haves:

·         At least 2-3 years of experience in the transportation business, including supervisory experience.

·         Completion of a bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field is required.

·         Ability to collaborate with internal, external, and geographically dispersed teams.

·         Aptitude for digital tool adoption and process building to enhance efficiency.
