Pho Maniac Cook is needed urgently!

We are urgently seeking a skilled cook for a full-time, permanent position at our restaurant located at 1252 Hollis Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia, B3J 1T6, Canada.

Job Info:

Wage: C$16.00 Per hour

Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Vacation: Overtime pay, 4% of gross salary

Language: English

Responsibilities:

·         Carefully Prepare and Cook a Variety of Dishes, including but not limited to traditional Vietnamese specialties like Pho.

·         Prepare Meals for customers with special dietary needs.

·         Manage the Daily Activities of kitchen helpers to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

·         Ensure Smooth Kitchen Operations, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen equipment and areas.

·         Responsible for Checking and Managing Inventory of food, supplies, and equipment. Regularly check inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed.

·         Promptly Package Food Ingredients and store them in the refrigeration area.

·         Assist in Menu Planning, determining food portions, estimating food requirements and costs, and monitoring and ordering supplies.

Requirement:

·         Completion of high school is required.

·         2 + years of commercial cooking experience.
