Own Pot (ZICHENGYIGUO BUSINESS GROUP LTD.)

We are a Chinese restaurant operating in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We mainly cook all kinds of simmer pots, as well as some Chinese stir-fried dishes and cold dishes. Our business is getting busier, so we need to recruit kitchen help to join our team!

Position:                                     Kitchen Helper

Salary:                                         C$16.00 /Hour

Working Hours:                      40 hours per week

Vacation Pay:                            4% of gross salary

Job Type:                                    Full-time, Permanent

Work Location:                        427 Academy Rd, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3N 0C2 Canada

Language:                                  No specific requirements

Responsibilities:

·         Assisting the cook in preparing food ingredients, such as cutting vegetables, preparing sauces, and cooking meat, to maintain an adequate stock level.

·         Ensuring cleanliness in the kitchen by regularly cleaning the counter, floor, and trash can at the beginning and end of each workday.

·         Taking orders from telephone and on-site customers and organizing them in a systematic manner.

·         Adhering to the restaurant’s hygiene standards by promptly cleaning cutlery and the dining area as per the signage and operation manual.

·         Collaborating with other staff members to ensure a seamless and efficient workflow.

Requirements:

·         Preferred, but not required: Previous experience working in a restaurant kitchen.

·         An asset: Completion of Secondary School.
