Marketing Specialist (NOC 11202)

In the role of Marketing Specialist, the candidate will be responsible for:

·         Evaluate NIVG’s travel packages and services to identify marketing and advertising strategies that effectively showcase the agency’s offerings.

·         Create and execute marketing campaigns to promote NIVG’s tour packages, travel services, and destination exploration experiences to tourists.

·         Measure and analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, make data-driven decisions to recommend improvements and optimize marketing spend.

·         Manage and optimize NIVG’s digital marketing efforts, including website updates, search engine optimization, search engine marketing, and social media advertising.

·         Monitor and analyze trends in the travel industry, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new marketing opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.

·         Coordinate and oversee promotional events to enhance NIVG’s brand awareness and attract potential customers seeking unique travel experiences.

·         Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to create engaging content that showcases the unique travel experiences offered by NIVG.

·         Develop and maintain relationships with agents, influencers, partners, and media outlets to expand NIVG’s brand presence in the travel and tourism sector.

·         Stay updated on emerging trends in the travel industry, digital marketing tools, and best practices, and integrate new strategies into NIVG’s marketing efforts as appropriate.


To be successful in this role, you will need:

·         A bachelor’s degree or college diploma in marketing, public relations, communications, business administration, tourism management, or a related field is preferred.

·         3 years of prior experience in marketing, preferably within the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry

·         Solid understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and techniques

·         Profound knowledge of digital marketing channels and tools

·         Creativity to develop innovative marketing campaigns and compelling content.

·         Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

·         Strong project management skills in a fast-paced environment

·         Adaptability and flexibility in the dynamic marketing landscape

Compensation: $28/hour for 35 hours per week
