Marketing Specialist (NOC 11202)

Mr. Souvlaki (YH Holdings Inc.), serving fresh-made Greek cuisine for over 17 years and has grown to 19 locations across Canada, in St John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, is looking for a qualified Marketing Specialist (NOC 11202).

Wage: C$ 28 / hour

Working Hours: 30 – 40 hours / week

Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Vacation Pay: 2 weeks annual vacation paid at a rate of 4% of the total wages earned in that 12-month period

Job Duties:

·         Examine the content for promotion, creating customized marketing and advertising strategies that align with the restaurant’s offerings.

·         Provide advice on marketing opportunities, advertising channels, and promotional offers.

·         Create plans and corresponding content for marketing campaigns and oversee the execution.

·         Analyze the outcomes of promotional efforts and make data-driven decisions.

·         Monitor social media accounts, summarize market trends, and attend to customer feedback.

·         Ensure the website content aligns with the brand image and provides relevant information.

·         Communicate updates of initiatives and policies to customers, employees, and the general public.

·         Conduct market research to identify industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities.

·         Develop promotional campaigns such as discounts, gift cards, loyalty programs, or limited-time promotions to incentivize customers to dine at the restaurant.

·         Facilitate the preparation of promotional content such as brochures, newsletters, and social-media posts, ensuring consistency with the restaurant’s visual identity.

·         Work with food bloggers and influencers to generate publicity and coverage for the restaurant’s special events and promotions.

Requirements:

·         A bachelor’s degree or college diploma in marketing, communications, public relations, business administration, or a related field is preferred.

·         3 years of prior experience in a related field
