Li’s Restaurant Limited, a family-owned restaurant that specializes in Chinese and Canadian Cuisine, is looking for a qualified Food Service Supervisor (NOC 62020).
Title: Food Service Supervisor (NOC 62020)
Wage: C$16/hour
Working Hours: 30 hours/week
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Job Duties:
· Oversee and direct kitchen and serving staff to ensure smooth and efficient food preparation and service.
· Plan and manage the procurement of ingredients and supplies to fulfill culinary needs at the restaurant.
· Consolidate meal requests for kitchen staff, based on customer preferences and dietary considerations.
· Arrange and monitor schedules and operational procedures to ensure smooth functioning of restaurant activities.
· Keep detailed records of inventory, maintenance, sales figures, and waste to optimize restaurant operations.
· Train staff on their roles, as well as sanitation and safety protocols to maintain a clean and secure environment.
· Maintain high standards of food quality and customer service to uphold the restaurant’s reputation.
Job Requirements:
· Completion of secondary education is preferred.
· College program in food service management or hospitality management, or 2+ years of experience in a related field.
· Proven leadership and team management skills
· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
· Knowledge of food service operations
