Fantuan Technology Ltd., a leading tech company in Metro Vancouver, BC, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time position with salary of $ 34.62/h, based on a 40-hour work week.

About the Role:

A Payroll Administrator at Fantuan Technology Ltd would have a critical role in managing and processing employee payroll. This includes maintaining accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with tax laws, administering benefits, and managing payroll systems. They would also liaise with different departments, handle employee payroll queries, and prepare financial reports. Key Responsibilities:

·         Oversee the payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accurate calculation of wages, tax withholdings, and employee benefits.

·         Keep up-to-date records of employee data, including attendance, leave balances, and overtime hours, using payroll software.

·         Ensure compliance with federal and provincial payroll regulations and reporting requirements.

·         Administer employee benefits, handle queries related to benefits, and liaise with insurance and benefits providers.

·         Manage and optimize payroll systems for efficiency and accuracy. This might involve integrating new software or technologies suitable for a tech company.

·         Collaborate with various departments, such as human resources and finance, to ensure smooth payroll operations.

·         Address and resolve any payroll-related inquiries from employees in a timely manner.

·         Prepare reports on payroll expenses, tax deductions, and benefit contributions, providing insights for budgeting and financial planning.

·         Continually assess and improve payroll processes and systems to enhance efficiency, especially in a technology-driven environment like Fantuan Technology Ltd.

·         Stay updated with the latest payroll trends and technologies, and potentially train other team members on new systems or updates.


·         Completion of secondary education highly beneficial.

·         2 years experiences in payroll administration or related fields are required.

·         Proficiency in using payroll software and systems, with an aptitude for adapting to new technologies.

·         Ability to analyze payroll data and reports for accuracy and compliance.

·         Understanding of payroll-related legal and regulatory requirements.

·         High level of accuracy and attention to detail in processing payroll and handling sensitive information.
