ECW Holdings Ltd DBA Wok Box Kelsey Drive is hiring two Kitchen Helpers (NOC 65201).

Join our dynamic team in St John’s, NL, Canada, and be part of a fast-growing restaurant chain that serves up a fun and unique dining experience. We’re looking for two Kitchen Helpers to assist in the preparation of mouthwatering Asian cuisine for our discerning customers.

Your Role:

·         Preparing meal materials for the cook involves cleaning, peeling, cutting, and slicing them.

·         Assisting kitchen staff in unloading food supplies from delivery vehicles.

·         Packing takeout orders as needed.

·         Mopping and sweeping the kitchen area as needed.

·         All dishes, utensils, culinary instruments, and cutting boards should be washed and dried thoroughly.

·         Organizing all utensils, kitchen tools, plates, and cutting boards in their proper locations.

·         Garbage removal, bag replacement, and garbage can wash.

Requirements:

·         On-the-job training will be provided.

·         Some high school education is preferred.

·         Accuracy in data entry, scheduling, and other tasks.

·         Ability to work well with staff, vendors, and customers.

·         Ability to address and resolve issues as they arise.

·         Willingness to work evenings, weekends, or holidays if required by the restaurant’s schedule.

Salary: $16/hour for a 40-hour work week
