JOB SUMMARY:

Position: Food and beverage server

Vacancies: 1

Wage and Benefits: $17.5 per hour

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Working Schedule: 35 hours per week, Weekends as needed, morning shift, evening shift

Work Setting: Bubble Tea Shop. Coffee shop

Job Location: 63 Crowfoot Terrace NW, Calgary, AB, T3G 4J8

Vacation: Remuneration of 4% of gross salary

 

JOB DUTIES:

1. Address customers’ complaints or concerns

2. Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques orroom billings

3. Describe menu items including daily specials for customers

4. Advise on menu selections

5. Clear and clean tables, and chairs

6. Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding dessert and beverages

7. Serve beverages and dessert

8. Take orders and relay to kitchen staff

9. Assist guests with special needs

10. Provide customer service

 

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

1. Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent is required

2. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills

3. Ability to work as part of a team and independently and multi-task

4. Able to work a flexible schedule, which includes evenings, weekends and holidays

5. High attention to detail
