Job Overview
We are looking for a compassionate and dependable Home Support Worker to provide exceptional care and support to seniors. The ideal candidate will work on-site at our home, ensuring a safe, clean, and supportive environment for daily living activities.
Responsibilities
Provide direct care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care
Assisting with mobility and regular exercise (e.g., walking)
Performing light housekeeping duties, including laundering clothing and maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the home
Laundering clothing and household linens
Offer companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive and caring atmosphere
Qualifications
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Previous experience in caregiving is an asset
Knowledge of senior care practices is an asset
Physical ability to perform tasks involving heavy lifting (up to 23 kg/50 lbs)
Compassionate, patient and reliable
Languages: English
