Title of Position: Restaurant Manager
Job Duties:
 Check and order inventory and supplies
 Adjust restaurant menu and change price on the menu.
 Plan activities for special occasions (Christmas, Valentine’s Day, etc.), including.
menu design, setting prices, and dining room decoration.

Design promotional programs for customer retention and appreciation, and
attraction of new customers
 Set schedule for staff; calculate all staff hours and sales etc.
 Manage staff on duty, assign tasks and monitor their work.
 Deal with customer complaints and special requests
 Research and monitor the cost of food and other supplies; negotiate with
suppliers, and change suppliers if needed.
 Make sure the restaurant is free of hazards to our customers’ and employees’.

 Hire staff for the restaurant especially dining room servers, dishwashers, etc.; be
responsible for their training
 Meet with the business owner to discuss the operation of the restaurant; propose.
and implement changes to the restaurant like adding/deleting some dishes from
our menu and serving customers more efficiently.
Skills Requirements:
 Completion of a college diploma
 1 year of experience in food and service industry
Terms of Employment : Permanent position and full time (35hours/week)
Language of work: English
Wage (must include any incremental raises, performance pay or bonuses): 27.5/hour
