What You Do:
· Oversee and coordinate the monitoring, recording, and maintenance of inventory levels, ensuring meticulous accuracy and availability of inventory items.
· Lead and facilitate regular inventory audits, reconcile physical inventory with system records, resolve discrepancies, and adjust inventory data.
· Supervise and support the logistics team in arranging transportation, loading, and unloading of goods to ensure timely delivery.
· Direct the warehouse team to ensure the proper storage and distribution of inventory items.
· Provide leadership and guidance to inventory specialists, enforcing adherence to established policies, procedures, and standards.
· Identify and address issues or complaints that arise within the inventory control process.
· Update and maintain inventory management systems to ensure the accuracy and reliability of system data.
· Conduct performance evaluations for team members within the inventory control department.
What You Need:
· Post-secondary degree in a related field is preferred.
· 2 years of prior experience in a related position is required.
· A strong passion for pets and a genuine interest in pet food and animal welfare are highly valued.
Salary: $33/hour, 30-40 hours/week
