Retail Butcher

1219782 BC Ltd O/A Everyday Grocery and More located at Unit 1 – 111 Chowsunket Street Fraser Lake, BC Canada V0J 1S0 is looking for 1 Retail Butcher to join their team as soon as possible.

Terms of Employment: Full time and Permanent
Wage: $23.00 per hour for 35 hours per week
Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible
Location: Unit 1 – 111 Chowsunket Street Fraser Lake, BC Canada V0J 1S0

Job Duties:

·         Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting.

·         Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat.

·         Wrap and package prepared meats.

·         Remove bones from meat.

·         Weigh meats for sale

·         Grind meats

·         Prepare special orders.

·         Prepare special displays of meats, poultry and fish products.

·         Maintain sales records for inventory control.

·         Organize and maintain inventory.

Job Requirement:

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Language: English

Work Setting: Supermarket and meat department.

Equipment and machinery experience: Band saw, Manual cutting utensil, Power grinder

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail
