Studio 44 salon o/a studio 54 Salon is looking for a dedicated and experienced Hairdressing Salon Manager to join our team. If you are passionate about hair care and have strong leadership skills, we would love to hear from you!

Wage:                                    C$ 33.05 / hour

Working Hour:                     30-40 hours working/week

Vacation：                           4% of gross wages, equivalent to 2 weeks of paid vacation annually

Employment Type:              Full-time, Permanent

Work Location:                    2 Lakeside Park Dr, Lakeside, Nova Scotia, B2T 1L7

Language:                             English

Job Requirements:

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
2 years to less than 3 years of management experience in personal service is required.
Experience in beauty, hairdressing, or wellness services in the service industry is preferred.
Job duties:

Recruiting, organize training sessions, and managing staff, including hairstylists, beauticians, and receptionists, ensuring they meet educational and licensing requirements.
Setting goals for staff and evaluating performance.
Creating work schedules for employees, coordinating appointments and client scheduling.
Overseeing daily salon operations to ensure excellent service, and ensuring all staff adhere to the salon’s service and conduct standards.
Addressing and resolving client complaints to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Maintaining salon cleanliness and orderliness according to health and safety regulations.
Marketing the salon to attract new clients, organizing and overseeing promotional activities, and creating and distributing promotional materials.
Monitoring the salon budget, expenses, and revenues to ensure profitability, processing client payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Monitoring salon supplies and equipment, ordering new stock as needed.
