Stratosphere Properties Ltd. specializes in real estate investment and development. We currently have 4 projects under construction. We aim to develop spaces that educate and embolden.

We are now looking for two qualified Apprentice carpenters to join our team.

Position: Apprentice carpenter

Wage: C$ 31.00-35.00 hourly (to be negotiated)

Working Hours: 30-40 hours working / week (to be negotiated)

Vacation Pay: 4% of gross salary

Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Work Location: 999 W Broadway Unit 680, Vancouver, BC V5Z 1K5

May be dispatched to different construction sites, 7035-7065 Fane Rd, Edmonton, AB T5G 0W6, 3400 Tillicum Rd, Victoria, BC V8Z 4H3

Job duties:

Learn technical drawings and plans to comprehend project requirements.
Learn how to accurately measure dimensions and quantities needed for construction projects.
Learn and know how to cut, shape and smooth lumber, fiberglass, or other materials to according to specifications by a carpenter’s teaching.
Learn to use both electrical and manual equipment such as powered saws, hammers, rulers, and measurement tools effectively.
Assist carpenter lay out floorings, roofing, or drywall, ensuring proper leveling and compatibility.
Assist carpenter carve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other items according to design specifications.
Responsible for conduct repairs or maintenance as needed.
Requirements:

Completion of secondary school is required.
Willing to become registered apprentice.
Experience is an asset.
