Starlinx Visa Services Ltd. in Surrey, BC, V3W 1R1, is looking to hire two full-time, permanent Administrative Assistants to join its team at the earliest.

 

Permanent Position: Administrative Assistant (NOC 13110)

 

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time

 

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

 

Work Address: Unit 231-8138 128 street, Surrey, BC, Canada, V3W 1R1

 

Wage rate: $25.00 – $27.00 per hour for 37.5 hours per week (Overtime as per BC labor laws)

 

Education: High School

 

Experience:  1-2 years of relevant experience.

 

Languages: English

 

Job Duties:

 

·       Answer telephone and electronic enquiries and relay telephone calls and messages

·       Draft and prepare paperwork, maintain database and files

·       Manage correspondence by answering emails and sorting mail

·       Set up and maintain office administrative procedures and review

·       Establish work priorities

·       Maintain effective operation and upkeep the office equipment, including photocopier, fax machine, printers, computers and telephones.

·       Prepare correspondence, applications by compiling data and other information

·       Performing additional duties as required by management

 

Essential Skills: Oral communication, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Continuous learning.

 

Knowledge of Equipment: Fax, Photocopier, Computer, Printer, Scanner

Knowledge of Software: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF & Adobe
