Permanent Position: Kitchen Helper

 

Number of Positions: 1

Wage Rate: $17.40 per hour for 35-40 hours per week.

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent, Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, Weekend

Anticipated start date: As soon as possible

Work Location: 648 Terminal Ave suite Unit 107 Nanaimo, British ColumbiaV9R 5E2

 

Job Duties:

·         Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.

·         Place dishes in storage area

·         Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.

·         Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.

·         Remove kitchen garbage and trash.

·         Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.

·         Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit.

·         Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.

·         Assisting the kitchen staffs and cooks for food preparations under their guidance.

 

 

Requirements:

Minimum Experience: Will train

Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma/ NONE

Must be able to work effectively as part of a team and attention to detail

Fluent in English
