Li’s Restaurant Limited, a family-owned restaurant that specializes in Chinese and Canadian Cuisine, is looking for a qualified Cook (NOC 63200).

Title: Cook (NOC 63200)
Wage: C$16/hour
Working Hours: 35 hours/week
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Job Duties:

·         Cook a diverse range of Chinese and Canadian dishes following Li’s Restaurant’s standards.

·         Prepare dishes that accommodate vegan, vegetarian, and other dietary preferences.

·         Coordinate and oversee kitchen staff to ensure efficient daily operations.

·         Monitor kitchen activities to maintain high standards of efficiency and food quality.

·         Assist with inventory control and identify restocking needs.

·         Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.

·         Ensure dishes are presented according to Li’s Restaurant’s standards.

·         Adhere strictly to food safety regulations and protocols.

·         Participate in training sessions to share cooking skills and knowledge.

Job Requirements:

·         Completion of secondary education is preferred.

·         Training in cooking and food safety, or 1+ years of commercial cooking experience

·         Trade certification is an asset.
