Job Title: Furniture Mover

Wage: C$22.00/hour

Working Hours: 8 hours/day and 40 hours/week

Benefit: 4% vacation pay

Term: Full-time, Permanent

Work Location: 115-9 South Landing Drive, Oak Bluff, MB R0G 1N0

Language: No language requirements

 

 

Job Duties:

–          Ensure safe loading and unloading of furniture or related materials with appropriate protective measures.

–          Lift and move household appliances and items using hands or basic tools.

–          Weigh, sort, count, package, and unpack items being transported based on their categories.

–          Ensure the standardized placement of furniture and office equipment as instructed.

–          Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and tools.

–          Promptly sort and dispose of garbage at the end of each moving task.

–          Perform other relevant moving tasks as assigned.

 

Requirements:

–          Experienced in moving or performing similar job tasks.

–          Possess a healthy physique, able to lift heavy objects all day.

–          Demonstrate punctuality and maintain a professional attitude.

–          Preferably graduated high school or obtained equivalent education.

–          Hold a valid driver’s license for added advantage.
